I am from Ukraine and it makes me insanely proud to see Zinny play at my favorite team in the EPL. I’ve been a fan of Arsenal since 2001, but somewhere along the way I stopped following football altogether, but now Zinny has reinvigorated my affection to the club and through Zinny I feel as if I am part of the club as well. So happy Arteta signed him from MCI, Arsenal is where he shines! And you can see Zinny is happy to be there and is useful for the team. I love seeing Gunners fans cherish our boy. I don’t skip Arsenal games anymore. Thank you Arsenal and thank you fans! Football nowadays helps me to get distracted from the war in our country. I see Zinny being appreciated by the club and the fans and it fills my heart with joy. Go Zinny, go Gunners, go Sir Mikel! We need to grab dat trophy!!!

Zinchenko's work rate is impressive he is always looking at the opposition's position for him to distribute the ball to most available player. This squad could easily become the " The Invincibles 2 " if they keep on playing as they do. I'm a veteran Gooner from way back in the day, one of the Clock End boys from Highbury.

The signing of the season in my opinion! Zinny is everywhere on the pitch, always available for the ball and fits so well in the system Arteta wants to play. He has so much technical ability, passion, understanding of the game and his defensive involvements are underrated (headers for instance). Still can't believe City let him and G. Jesus join us. COYG!

Genuine question here; I still wonder why city let us have them? Was it they thought mikel wouldn’t be a good coach and so didn’t view us as competitors?

@@CrowzEye Good question. I understand why they let G Jesus go, as they were getting Haaland. But they did not really replace Zinchenko, and they loaned out Cancelo to Bayern which is crazy to me. Not sure what their plan was honestly

I think you have to give credit to Arteta for his vision of how he will fit tactically in the team and system. Don't forget it was Arteta who turned him into a LB while at City as assistant, so maybe Pep just didn't see it so much as a fit to his plans. Ofc he is a very very good player but I do think its Arteta's use of him t hat helps make him a special player in this team. So crazy that our LB is given a free role along with our R(A)CM.. i never did that on football manager, what about you guys?

Zinny has courage, passion and determination. He deserves to be captain in the future. He was able to express his passion and make a positive impact on his teammates and fans. We need energy like he has to win the Premier League. What Zinny has was never at Arsenal during the Wenger-Arteta phase. If you want to become champions in the Premier League, then someone like Zinny is what we need. Look at Roy Keane, Viera, and de Bruyne.

People don't realize what we've got. Players like Zinchenko are incredibly rare. He has literally revolutionized the LB position.

hmm I think tbf it is Arteta who did that and used him as the player.. Arteta turned him into a LB when he arrived at City as a CM. Obv, not taking away how technical and talented a player he is, but I don't think he "revolutionizes" the LB role from a tactical and positional point of view on his own. As a general point tho, you are right that the way he is used in this Arsenal team is revolutionary and amazing.. id just put the tactics much more down to Arteta than the player.

@@sco9616 To add to your point. Arteta played Xhaka in that same LB/CM role during one of injury crises and it caused Xhaka to lift his game.

@@alphonsoelm5652 yea its interesting that , too.. when we didn't have injuries he made him drop into the LB space when KT went forward, and when KT was injured he played him outright at LB.. Arteta obviously has some plan which involves having a playmaker on the left side (and deeper) and one on the right side further forward. Maybe its his way of having balance, having the pitch covered with the right amount of playmakers and runners. As you say, he has always been good at adapting the lineup to make the system work, or tweaking the system. I just think its exactly as Pep is quoted as saying- "Tactically, he knows everything. EVERYTHING." lol Xhaka also calling him "a freak, in a good way" when it comes to tactics. This I find awesome because he is also clearly amazing when it comes to mentality. We have a real talented manager right now.

I liked his playmaking skills and high-risk passes, but sometimes he lost the ball in dangerous areas. He is a technically-gifted midfielder and very good in tight spaces

@@traductionscultureen-arver2307 u dont have to be on the field to be a leader necessarily. He is a voice in the dressing room and a role model, can give loads of advice and has been there and done that. He even coaches the players from the bench as we've seen
